HELMET

Pro:

Not dying if you crash

If you bite it on the highway, chances are your head will take a beating. Obviously, helmets reduce the risk.

Con:

Helmet hair/Nerdiness

A helmet isn’t exactly a magnet for people of the opposite sex, and wearing one could reduce your street cred.

NO HELMET

Pro:

Freedom of choice

If you don’t want to do something, you shouldn’t have to, especially when it comes to riding your hog.

Con:

Smashing your head open

Not wearing a noggin shell is a calculated risk. You might not wreck, but if you do without a helmet, you’re exposed.

VOX PICK

Helmet

Free choice is fundamental for Americans, but wearing a helmet is a good call. Riders might disagree with the mandate, but they won’t if the protection saves their lives.
