Start Drinking A new study found that drinking is good for something other than just your heart — reducing arthritis. It has been proven that the more you drink, the more likely you are to lessen your chances of the joint pain. Scientists aren’t exactly sure how drinking decreases the risk; they just know it does after studying the lifestyle of 2,750 Scandinavians.
Panty plunderers Two men robbed a convenience store wearing women’s thongs as a disguise. The skimpy skivvies hardly covered the men’s faces as they were caught on surveillance loading cash and cigarettes into a pink backpack. They later turned themselves into the police. Next time, they’ll use full-coverage undergarments to hide their identities.
deep doo-doo A Lebanon, Pa., man placed an important 911 call from a portable toilet. Shannon Hunter, 31, had been drinking, took off his clothes and somehow fell into the holding tank while using the facility. The police rescued him and charged him with public drunkenness and violation of health code. Hunter must have mistaken the Port-a-Potty for a mud bath.
