IT'S RAINING CASH On Sunday, an Indonesian businessman drew a crowd as he dropped the equivalent of $11,200 over a field in Serang, just west of Jakarta. The stunt was to promote his new motivational book, and he was welcomed by curious Indonesians. In a nation where millions live on less than a dollar a day, his onlookers were probably more excited about the cash than the message.
STINGING WATERMELON A stowaway stinger surprised a young shopper on her visit to Wal-Mart with her father. The scorpion, which traveled from Mexico, was quickly captured and the girl later received medical care. Maybe next time you’ll rethink your five-a-day!
